New Lac La Biche County CAO Appointed

Lac La Biche County has a new CAO, after choosing to part ways with Dan Small in June. Manny Deol brings over 30 years experience in CAO and executive roles to the community. The County says Deol was most notably the CAO of Drayton Valley, specializing in economic development and growth. During his time there, Weyerhaeuser opened a sawmill, a hemp plant started up, and the town got a branch of NorQuest College. Mayor Paul Reutov says council looks forward to working with him on supporting current businesses and attracting new investment. Deol begins his job October 3rd.
