RCMP RELEASE:
On Sept. 4, 2023, Lac La Biche RCMP were following up with a wellbeing check which led police to a specific location. With the assistance of the Emergency Response Team, officers attended and located a deceased male in a residence.
The RCMP Major Crimes Unit have taken carriage of the investigation. There will be an autopsy to determine the manner of death.
An update will be sent when more information becomes available.
