Smoky Lake RCMP are currently on scene at a fatal collision involving three vehicles on Highway 28 in Vilna, between Range Roads 141 and 142. Smoky Lake RCMP would like to advise the public that Highway 28 will be closed in that area while investigation is ongoing and traffic analysts attend the scene.
Traffic is being diverted to Township Road 594 via Range Roads 141 and 142. The public is asked to avoid the area as it will be impassible until further notice.
A release will be sent out once the highway is reopened and more details become available.
