There are changes to the times that the ER in Lac La Biche will be affected by no doctor on-site–but in the right direction. They managed to secure some coverage to staff the emergency room at the hospital through the day shift tomorrow (Friday, August 18). There won’t be any doctor there starting at 4pm Thursday, until 8am Friday, and the same times Friday afternoon into Saturday morning. Nurses will remain at all times, and EMS will be re-routed to neighbouring facilities.
